Papers submitted to ISUVR 2009 will be evaluated on the basis of originality, technical correctness, overall appeal to the general ISUVR reader, and presentation. Papers submitted must not have been previously published nor currently under review for any publication with an ISBN, ISSN, or DOI number. All reviewers will be instructed to keep submissions confidential, although submissions must be publishable by the camera-ready deadline. Papers for ISUVR2009 is up to 4 pages (2 columns). Papers should be submitted through ISUVR2009 web page.
Accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore(TM) and the IEEE Computer Society (CSDL) digital libraries, and all submissions should be formatted according to their guidelines.
One author from each accepted paper will be required to attend the symposium to present their work. To attend ISUVR2009, you may register through our website (http://www.isuvr.org/registration.htm) on-line registration.
 

■ Introductions

In ISUVR2009, we aim at exchanging new ideas and intensive discussion on ubiquitous virtual reality. All the authors of accepted paper will have 15-20 minites presentations.

All the accepted papers will be

 
- Included in the IEEE proceeding books.
  - Included in the IEEE Computer Society online store.
  - Archived to IEEE Xplore(TM) and the IEEE Computer Society (CSDL) digital     libraries.
 

Abstract Submission

We recommend the authors to submit brief summary of their papers. There is no template or format for abstract submission. You can submit it through the ISUVR paper submission system.

Papers accepted for the symposium will be allocated 4 pages in the proceedings.

Please use the 8.5" x 11", two-column format available HERE.

[Double Blind Review]

ISUVR2009 reviewing is double blind. Authors do not know the names of reviewers of their papers, and the reviewers do not know the names of the authors either. Thus, the paper should not contain any information about the name and the affiliations of the authors.

ISUVR 2009 provides student volunteer opportunity for student authors from around the world to meet top researchers in U-VR and actively participate in conference organization. Students volunteer 20 hours of their time to assist the conference run smoothly. In return for their assistance, student volunteers receive 1) Free conference registration 2) Special T-Shirt.

Please note that Student Volunteers are responsible for their own housing, and travel expenses to and from Gwangju, Korea. Low housing rates will be offered to Student Volunteers. Apply for student volunteer by writing an email to the SV chair. Please include previous student volunteer experiences and technical skills.
